yoga + meditation

All of our classes are donation-based and suitable for any experience level. Each class structure varies depending on the group and the day, but all yoga classes will be based in hatha yoga—physical postures and breathing techniques with a therapeutic approach. Our yoga and meditation classes often include themes around yin and yang (taking in and letting go) and the elements (earth, fire, air, and water). We love to share small, simple practices that can be incorporated in other parts of your day and life. To learn more or to schedule a class, send us a message.

about us

  • Jeanne Lassard

I was fortunate to have yoga and meditation in my life from the very beginning as my mom was my very first teacher. Because of this it was woven into the fabric of who I am. I received my Yoga Teacher Certification as a part of a degree in Holistic Health and Healing Arts from UNM.

  • Cali Mirasol

I felt drawn to yoga at a young age, when I was given a DVD of “gentle yoga”. Later I found myself training to be a teacher of the Bikram style—which I completed but didn’t feel connected to. In 2021, I enrolled in the Holistic Health and Healing Arts program at the University of New Mexico, where I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training. There, I was able to learn a whole new and more complete relationship to yoga and how it can help people in our everyday lives. My instructor in this program and Jeanne have been my best teachers, instilling the important truth that no one knows more about our body than ourself, there is no perfect way to practice meditation or yoga, and the most important moment is the one you’re in.
